from 1120 reviewsGreat pole, especially if you aren't using trekking poles. Just don't have a 250 plus pound drunk man fall on the tent and the pole will never fail you.

I bought by Rincon2P two years ago. Now I am not the usual customer of Argali, I am not a hunter, at least yet. I chose the Rincon 2P for a light an compact tent that can fit in my motorcycles side cases.
This summer I learned how strong the tent really is. I was camping at Airventure, a big event in Oshkosh, WI and early one morning at 02:30 I was woken to the tent collapsed on top of me, there were no storms that night to blow it over, what happened? Come to find out, a large 250 plus pound drunk man had fallen on to the tent snapping the Argali carbon fiber pole that was holding the center of the tent up. Fortunately nobody was injured from it just my confusion as to why the pole was several inches shorter then it was when I laid down to sleep.
Looking at the aftermath in the morning light the tent itself was fine, not a single tear anywhere except the one I made when my pocket knife handle caught on the open entrance setting the tent up.
As you can see the carbon fiber pole did not fair as well as the tent. I know Argali makes a tough tent for backcountry use, but I didn't realize they are made to withstand having a large man fall on to them!

I used the Absaroka recently guiding a sheep hunt in AK. I have been wanting to take one for years, but nervous about having it hold up. I decided to this year, as I knew we would have multiple people, and other tents if it failed. The tipi performed incredibly well, better than any tipi ive been in before, which is quite a few. It handled wind great, had no condensation when pitched slightly off the ground, had room for five guys to sit and play cards or eat when it was raining, and had room for two to sleep, and the rest of our packs, meat, and gear inside. Two of the best parts of the tents are the adjustable line locks for the pegs, and the zero stretch the fabric has. With other tipis you are constantly moving the stakes or raising the poles, but the Absaroka stayed taut throughout our trip. I am definitely looking forward to more nights in it as the season progresses. Thanks for the great products!

Awesome tent so far. Fast and easy to setup. Also, lightweight for backcountry hunting.

I have been using standard tents for years...I just like a floor in mine, but in the off chance I only need cover and need to go floorless or add a stove the Ricon 2p fit the bill. Also, I trust the gear to hold up for years to come. This tent checks so many boxes, adaptable and well made. We seam sealed ourselves and I love they allow us to do this.

This shelter is the best! 66 square feet so easy to find a place to set up, multiple setup options with inserts and stove jack, and for the price with the versatility it just can’t be beat! So far I have a couple nights in it just in the back yard but preparing for archery elk, with it, but this tent will be my all season tent. Hot to cold, it can do it all.

Very light. Very packable I think considering it’s a tent pole. The range that it adjusts is good. Been very happy overall with this pole.

Good lightweight tent. One backcountry bear hunt with it. I need to figure out how to set it up better with the insert. Easy set up anyway

I’m not a hunter, but bought this for a 200+ mile Through Hike of the John MuirTrail. The specs and description looked too good to be true, but wow. This bag is a game changer, as I am looking to get my basic load as light as possible. Not only is this bag bigger and lighter than my current down bag, but it is amazingly comfortable. Based off of its quality, I’m getting ready to order the pillow next.

Good insert for our tent. Pretty light and useful for the bugs to keep away. Easy to assembly to the tent.

Fantastic tent. Set up is easy. I love the insert. Used it in hot weather and looking forward to it in the winter.

This bag is top notch and the weight was as stated.
We purchased 4 different bags from 3 manufacturers and no one else is accurate on weight.
I used this in the Brooks Range with a waterproof cover and it’s the best sleeping bag (and pillow) I’ve ever owned.
